Just like we should start brushing our teeth before we have cavities, there are a lot of small things that we can (and should) do to help with speech and language development before a kid ever needs speech therapy.

I spend a lot of time fielding questions about "what can I do?" so I developed a class. I know that your time and money is precious so I have stuck to what information is most important and have kept it at an affordable price. After this 45 minute class you will have a foundational knowledge of how speech and language develop. You will have concrete strategies to take advantage of the normal developmental process so your child can grow and improve. Classes are capped at 15 people so I can provide individualized support and answer questions.

What will I learn?

Understand how it works and what you can do.

We first cover the basics of how speech and language develop. Once we have a clear picture of how things work to make them work better! We talk about what milestones really mean, and why they matter. Then we get to the most important piece of the puzzle. What you as a parent can do! We cover concrete strategies that you can put into practice right now. As a parent myself I make sure that these are things you can do as part of your everyday life and that work with all kids.

When is the class?

I hold class on the 1st Tuesday and the 3rd Wednesday of every month. The live class starts at 7:30 PM Central Time. A recording will be posted to the class dashboard To access the virtual class you will need to get registered and then there will be detailed instructions to access the Zoom session in your student dashboard.
